You will find the studio up in the sky at the Suffolk Food Hall. We offer a personal and enchanting experience from our light and airy studio space and roof terrace.
You don’t need to be able to draw to be one of our Stars!

Saturday 16th – Saturday 23rd Feb – Half Term workshops for 5 years + up. 10am -12pm // 1pm – 3pm. £15pp. Playing with paper and ceramic plates, inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. Within the workshop we will be exploring with coloured papers, collaging and decorating a ceramic plate with the colourful ‘Hungry Caterpillar’ as our starting point. Saturday Morning Clay – 10:30am – 12pm £15 per person. Open to all – adults and children. Highly recommend booking as spaces limited. Call or email to book your place.

How does it work?
Choose a ceramic from our contemporary range.
If you have an idea in mind we can offer suggestions to help you achieve this.
However, if needed we can guide and encourage you to try simple but effective techniques.
All ceramics are glazed, fired and wrapped in named bags, ready for collection two weeks later.
Do I need to book?
You are welcome to let us know you are coming. However, it is not essential.
Larger groups will need to make a booking.
How much does it cost?
We have ceramics to suit all price ranges from small items such as coasters at £5, mugs from £12 and larger items at £40. There is no studio fee.
How long will it take to fire my item?
Your ceramic has to be dip glazed, foot wiped and loaded into the kiln. The firing itself takes two days and will be ready for collection in two weeks.
How long will you keep my ceramics?
We can hold onto your ceramics for 6 weeks.
Are the paints safe for children and babies?
All Starglazing paints are child safe, water based, non toxic under glazes.
Will you help me with my baby’s footprints?
We are happy to help.
Can you add writing on my ceramics?
Yes we offer a writing service for an extra £5 per ceramic.
Do I need to be good at drawing to make it work?
No drawing skills needed. We have sponges, stamps, stencils, screen printing, brushes and tools to help.
Is there free parking?
Yes free parking at the Suffolk Food Hall.
Can I bring food and drink into the studio?
You are welcome to have tea and cake at the studio table if ordered from the Suffolk Food Hall Cafe.
Do you offer party bookings?
Yes for all ages and occasions. Please get in touch for more details email@example.com.
Paint your own ceramic parties at Starglazing.
Children’s Parties, Family Gatherings, Creative Workshops, Hen Parties and Team Building. We accept bookings for groups larger than six. We can also bring Starglazing to you. If you are a school, a children’s activity group or an organization we can bring Starglazing to you. Please contact us for details firstname.lastname@example.org.
